On March 31, NBS Seniors presented a hilarious legal battle that turned everyone’s favorite stories upside down. In the play Fairy Tale Courtroom, written by Dana Proulx, the fairy-tale world’s most notorious villains—the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Witch—were finally brought to trial for their “happily-ever-after” destroying ways. From the Big Bad Wolf’s property damage to the Wicked Witch’s “speeding on a broomstick,” no crime was too small for the courtroom. As the jury, the audience decided the verdicts. Following two performances, the Wolf was found innocent both times, and the Witch received first a guilty, then a not guilty verdict. We’ll never look a fairy tales in the same way!
