With everyone taking part, it all comes together with ease. This year’s line up features Holly Renee Allen, John Howard & more, plus the always-popular lip sync contest, children’s activities by Little Planets, silent auction, cake walk, cork raffle, local food and Cardinal Point wine.
Please bring in a bottle of wine or single bottle of specialty craft beer for the Cork Raffle. If you donate wine and sell tickets, we have the opportunity to raise $6,000+ for teacher bonuses!!! (Ticket sales plus a match of up to $3,000 gets us to this figure.)
Next Friday, April 26th is the last day to pull student contracts without having to pay contracted tuition. Please see the information below from your re-enrollment packet. You may withdraw from the contract by Friday, April 26, 2019 without owing tuition. You must submit your request for withdrawal in writing or in an email by 4:00 pm on April 26, and you must receive confirmation from Autum that NBS has received your request. After April 26, you are committing to pay the contracted tuition for the year, whether that service is used or not. There is no cancellation of fees or tuition in the case of absence, withdrawal, or dismissal. Staff salaries are paid from tuition so your commitment to these payments is essential for us to plan and meet our financial responsibility to staff.
***If you have placement question, please be in touch with your child’s current teacher.***

NBS parent, Monica Bautista, is compiling memories and good wishes for Charlotte as she prepares to retire. She’ll be in the Early Primary classroom from 4-6PM on Tuesday, April 23rd, Tuesday May 7th, and Friday, May 10th. Your family is invited to stop in and share memories and wishes! SHHHHH, it’s a secret!
Reasons to donate to the Annual Fund:
1) Your gift of ANY size helps us honor Charlotte with 100% participation. Please contribute at a level that is comfortable for your family.
2) Every day, students and teachers use heat, A/C, electricity, paper towels & toilet paper, and much more, all paid for by the Annual Fund.
3) It’s an exciting moment when each class and then whole school reaches 100% participation. (Early Primary & Primary Yellow are leading the way with 77% participation!)
4) One lucky family that donates to the Annual Fund will receive VIP treatment at BandFair XVII when their name is chosen in a random drawing.
Many thanks to…
Everyone who brought in items or shopped at the Spring Swap Shop, and to Linda Batdorf, Cat Murphy, and Chantal Scott-Delamarter for set-up and breakdown help. Shoppers walked away with fabulous finds at a great value for their $5. We’ll plan to do one again next fall and Spring 2020, so keep this in mind when cleaning out closets.
Did you know?
After reading Beatrice’s Goat, Juniors raised $822 in the Heifer International Read to Feed program. This money will buy animals for families, to support their nutrition and income, making clothes, better shelter and school available! Congratulations Juniors!!!
North Branch is honored to share with you that the family of former North Branch parent, Callum Boggs, has donated the fund set up in his memory to NBS. Recognizing Callum’s love of reading and poetry, the fund will be used to purchase books for classrooms, as well as providing assistance for working families needing before and after care. Many thanks to the Boggs family for allowing us to honor and remember Callum in this way.
