St. George & the Dragon, December 19, 1:00 & 7:00 performances

Pumpkins, recorders, Capture the Flag and The Lion Sleeps Tonight!

Right before assembly on Friday afternoon, the Juniors and Seniors played a large game of Capture-The-Flag. Everyone was so happy to have a beautiful, not-rainy day.

After games, at assembly, we enjoyed several performances. Jessie’s Early Primary class sang us a song for Halloween. Early Primary students got to perform it on their own first. Then we had an encore for everyone to join in; many older students remember this song from their early days at North Branch.

We were also treated to “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” led by Craig Green. He always does such a fantastic job guiding the students in wonderful performances. In fact, it was this performance, led by Craig, that inspired the North Branch blog!

The Middle School ensemble played “Go from my Window.”

Also, from assembly a few weeks ago, here is an interesting chart that Jess’ Wednesday group compiled on their morning nature walks.
