Friday’s assembly focused on Valentine’s Day and this month’s weather. The chorus sang a beautiful round (after having practiced only once!) and the Juniors recited “February,” by John Updike. The Big Room is looking very colorful, with all of the drawings and posters from Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. On Monday, students will start to bring in their Valentine’s Boxes – it’s quite a treat seeing the colorful, creative, and funny boxes that NBS students create.
