During Friday’s assembly, Maggie’s wooden spoon elective shared their gorgeous creations with the school. The spoons they made were truly amazing. I may have to encourage my own child to take the next spoon-making elective, because now I want one too! Here are everyone’s creations, pictured with the hands that made them:

With Maggie’s help and instruction, each students sawed and carved the spoon shape out of a wooden block, formed the spoon bowl, sanded it many times and then oiled the wood.
