“May the fourth be with you.” BandFair 2025 was held on May 4th, Star Wars Day! We had some Star Wars fun and lots of other kinds of fun as well.
- There was great music by Lindsey Osborne, Joia Wood, Rob Mezzanotte & Friends, Blake Hunter & Friends, and Sisters & Brothers.
- Children enjoyed the awesome kids’ area put together by Abby & Dustin Love.
- Always, a highlight, Lip Sync Fun entertained us thoroughly. Where else might you hear a number from Hamilton followed by a Madonna song, then see “All Spice,” North Branch’s version of the Spice Girls?
- When not listening to music, folks gathered under the tent for face painting, hair braiding, jewelry sales, the always-popular cake walk, the Cork Raffle display & sales, and the silent auction. And just across the way, Maggie the Pig was celebrating her birthday with her porcine friend Sassy and some human friends.
- There was plenty to eat and drink also, including Cardinal Point wine, El Chilango Mexican Grill, Kona Ice, and Buzzing Bee Coffee.

Best of all, the day raised over $13,000 for the Founder’s Fund, which provides needs-based tuition assistance, and for school programs, including Book Breaks, which brings famous authors into the classroom via live streaming. Plus, Cork Raffle sales, donations, and a matching gift provided $6,611 for end-of-year bonuses for our hardworking staff.
