St. George & the Dragon, December 19, 1:00 & 7:00 performances

Congratulations, Class of 2020!

It’s the last day of school. Always a bittersweet moment, this one is especially poignant as we are not in person to say goodbye for the summer or celebrate our 8th grade graduates. We’re sending them off with as much virtual fanfare as possible, and hope to be able to have a small, socially distanced gathering later in the summer for just grads and their families. In the meantime, Class of 2020, we wish you well on the next phase of your journeys in education and life. In a piece that aired on WMRA several years ago, Katrien tells graduates, “Be ready for everything to change. And the most important, most exciting thing that will change as you grow—if you let it—is your mind.” Take a moment to read the transcript here – http://hopeful-ink.blogspot.com/2011/06/best-present-graduates-can-give-to.html  It will inspire you even if you aren’t a recent graduate!

Here’s the virtual send-off for the NBS graduates of 2020 from teachers, families, and fellow students. It’s filled with song, good wishes, and, suprisingly, lots of animals!  https://app.vidhug.com/Hyj4TfjoI/hug
