At North Branch, we are grateful every Tuesday morning when the clock says 10:25, because that is when we hear students exclaim, “Book Buddy Time!” For decades at NBS, this weekly time when older children read to younger children has been a favorite of our students. The excitement of having a “big kid” read to you! The day when you go from being read to to being The Reader! New books are discovered, bonds are formed, and Book Buddies are remembered into adulthood.
