Every Friday, the school gathers in the afternoon for a half-hour assembly. This is a North Branch tradition that is part community meeting, part theater and part musical revue. Younger kids sit with their older book buddies and everyone shares what they have been working on and creating during the week.
Krista’s Primary II class showed off their yarn and foam spaghetti bowls. The class has been practicing leaving “spaghetti-sized spaces” between their letters and “meatball-sized spaces” between their sentences.
Katrien and the 8th grade ensemble play Mes de Mayo, or, Month of May.
