North Branch has big plans for a new building on campus to house music, art, science, world language & culture, and performing arts. This new learning and gathering space will replace the trailer that is nearing the end of its usefulness.

NBS conducted a feasibility study in 2023 to determine the possibility of raising the funds, as well as the best approach for success. The planning process included input from teachers, staff, parents, and community leaders and made clear the best focus for the new structure. Currently, music, science, art, and Spanish classes are taught in multiple areas—whatever is available at class time. The proposed new structure will provide for the needs of all students and will house: a music room, an art room, a world culture and language room, and a science room with a proper lab. This new building will also include a performing arts pavilion, which will give the children a covered space to assemble, hold performances, and welcome community performers and others.
To date, we have raised $1.1 million in funds and pledges toward the $2 million needed to turn the classrooms and performing arts pavilion into a reality. The many ways our community has supported the students and teachers of North Branch School over the years has been vitally important and we hope we can count on you to be by our side for this exciting new endeavor. We will need our whole community to make this dream come true.
