The Writer’s Eye program at UVA’s Fralin Museum of Art is a teacher and student favorite. The students view artwork at the museum with an eye to creating a poem or prose piece based upon what they are viewing. Art inspiring art is an imaginative way to spark those creative ideas for writing. Those who wish to will submit their writings to the Fralin for review by age group. Last year, North Branch had two Middle Schools students recognized by the Writer’s Eye judges.
