When you are a teacher, it takes a school to raise a baby, and that is GratiTUdESDAY worthy! There are many examples of NBS babies, but here are a few, from our newest baby, River, son of April, NBS Science and Senior teacher, to current 8th-grader Luke as a babe in arms. Luke’s photo is from an Awards Breakfast where NBS was presented with the Charlottesville Family Friendly Business Award of 2004 based upon an essay written by Luke’s mother and NBS Middle School teacher, Katrien. The award was presented by musician and community benefactor, Boyd Tinsley, violinist for the Dave Matthews Band.
