On Friday, we were treated to a unique musical assembly. Jim Bond, a bagpiper from the Albemarle Pipes & Drums visited to share his music with us. We learned about the history of the instrument (thought to originate in the Middle East, rather than Scotland) and listened to Mr. Bond play the chanter and bagpipes. It was fascinating and wonderful to hear the bagpipes live. Thank you very much for visiting!
