North Branch students, staff and parents gathered in the morning and afternoon to mark our participation in Relay for Life. Students, teachers and families made prayer flags to remember and honor loved ones who have had cancer. The nursery class started off the morning walk and the middle students walked for the last hour of the day. Our community raised $546 for cancer research, which we presented to Amy Kirchner of Nelson County Relay for Life. Thank you to Robyn Ebelherr for organizing this event.
