Every Friday the North Branch community comes together at 2:30 to share things learned during the week, like musical pieces in progress or completed and other community news. On Friday the 17th the school met for the first assembly with performances. In the video below, Charlotte and a few students who knew the tune teach the rest of the school a round in honor of the autumnal equinox.

Regina’s Early Primary class took a field trip to the local recycling center. There they learned about the process of trash and how to keep things out of the landfill by reusing them. They left some cds at the free shed, and came back with a hula hoop! Here they are presenting their find.
In other developments, the soccer teams had a great turn out and they have been practicing twice a week. The lines have been drawn on the field in preparation for the first game – Friday, October 1st at North Branch! We play The Oakland School at 4:45.
