Several interesting presentations were made in Friday’s assembly. The seniors read some unique poems that had the audience guessing their subjects. The shop class talked about safety and exhibited the lawn mower engine they are fixing. Early Primary and Nursery shared a collage they made for Read for The Record (everyone read The Snowy Day) and a giant team-built Lego ship was shown off. There were also two recorder performances, one of which was a first-ever public performance for the newly-minted Junior recorder players.
In the following video, the Junior Ones play “Hot Cross Buns,” the first recorder song that every North Branch student learns in their third grade year.
