Joy & health to you all summer long!

St. George 2022: The Show

North Branch founder and “St. George and the Dragon” director, Charlotte Zinsser Booth, describes the play as a patchwork of poems and stories, songs and dance in celebration of the Winter Solstice. Every year the North Branch community gathers on (or close to) the shortest day to help drive the darkness away. There are solemn moments and lots of laughs, but at the end of day, we have come together to  create something both ancient and never seen before. For while we perform the same play every year, it is never exactly the same. The core story is there, but each new voice and face bring something different to this celebration.

As the days grow longer, we hope that you remember the merriment and joy from “St. George and the Dragon” 2022.
