After living through a global pandemic, this year’s Middle School students felt invincible. What could they take on next? Zombies! On March 31, the Middle School class presented “10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse” by Don Zolidis for their spring play. Some of the methods proposed were questionable (sacrifice the weak?), others gave us some good new ideas: reason with the zombies — and, if all else fails, romance the zombies! Students chose the play after reading several throughout the winter, and then rehearsed together for the month of March, growing in each rehearsal their comedy, zombie, and even kung-fu skills.
