Optional outdoor activities began this week as a supplement to online learning. The goal is to have some fun, physically distant, social time for children. It’s been so great to hear the sound of children’s laughter echoing all over campus as they played on the playground, explored the gardens, observed insects under the microscope, and hiked in our woods. Each group is assigned a day of the week, so we only have small groups on the grounds at a time. Some of the older students even met in Crozet to play pickle ball.
