The Middle Schoolers enjoyed a celebration to mark the end of their Renaissance studies in Humanities. The Elizabethan banquet allowed them to use all the senses, as they experienced life as it would have been during the era. As Katrien said, they were “steeped in the ideas, flavors, sounds and textures of the time.” Each student made a dish, played music, memorized sonnets and even researched Shakespearean insults to have at the ready. It was clearly an educational and fun afternoon!
