Joy & health to you all summer long!

An African Dance, an Egyptian Banquet and Friday Assembly

This is Regina’s Early Primary Class performing an amazing African dance they worked on all week. The drummer is Jacob Tal, of the band Naughty Dynamic. Thank you to Jacob, Regina and the students for such an incredible performance!

The senior and middle school chorus sings Amani Utupe (Grant Us Peace, Give us Courage).  They are singing in both Swahili and English.

Natasha’s Primary II class has been studying ancient Egypt. The students spent this week delivering their reports on topics such as the food Egyptians ate, how they treated their pets and what they wore. Here they are enjoying their Egyptian banquet on Friday, March 12. Students brought in dishes that were common in ancient Egypt, such as fish, pita bread, radish salad, beans and fruit. They were all very excited to dress in Egyptian style, complete with jeweled collars and golden headbands.
