To the NBS Community:
At this time, North Branch School has made the decision to close Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27, 2020. This decision is based on reliable science that slowing and limiting the spread of the Covid-19 virus on a large scale is only possible through social distancing.
Teachers and staff will have an in-service work day on Monday, March 16th to plan for remote and online learning. Many students will come home today, Friday, March 13th with workbooks, journals, reading books and assignments. More information will be sent out electronically on Monday as our plans for remote learning are finalized.
We regret the hardship this will cause for many in our community. We will tell students about this at the end of the day in hopes of creating as normal a school day today as possible.
Please check your email regularly as that will be one way of communicating with students and families.
We will keep our website and telephone message up to date as plans change. Thank you for your flexibility as we navigate this quickly changing situation.
