On May 5 students and teachers of NBS walked in support of the Nelson County Relay for Life. Friends and family members donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of their efforts. As they walked their laps, students peeled off in groups to tie a ribbon on the school’s Tree of Hope. The ribbons will remain on the tree all year to remind the students of their hopes for friends and family members to have a healthy future.
